Terreno "Le Tre Vigne" Chianti Classico 2020

This comes from all three sites. Terreno gives aromatics and beautiful fruit; Le Bonille lends structure and minerality; Sillano contributes freshness and depth. Fundamentally, however, bear in mind that Greve is in the northeast corner of Chianti Classico. The northern part is cooler and the eastern side is hillier. Chianti from the western and southern communes are often weightier and sun-soaked.

Vintage 2020 had a cold spring with some frost followed by a warm and dry summer with good day-night temperature variation. Another excellent year with elegant and approachable wines.

The grapes are hand-picked in small trays. Micro-fermentations where each field and clone vinify separately. Only natural yeasts are used. Fermentation and skin contact take place in stainless steel tanks or in open 10hl vessels for optimal oxygenation. Manual remontage.
