About Us

Wine on Piedmont is an independent, women-owned, neighborhood bottle shop & wine bar. We’ve been serving our East Bay community (and beyond) since 2009. 

Founded, managed and staffed by a small, but mighty crew of wine-obsessives, amaro-fiends, cider freaks and other lovable oddballs, we strive to provide knowledgeable and helpful service without pretension or BS. We think our offerings are pretty stellar, but it’s our people: our team, our neighbors, our loyal customers, our vendors, and our partners that make us great.

Stop in and browse our thoughtful, taste-tested selection of wine, spirits, beer, sake, cider, non-alcoholic beverages - and whatever else we’re crushing on - or place an order for pick up, delivery or shipping (within California and to a couple of other states) online. 

Need a drink? Relax over a glass of wine, or enjoy a weekend flight, at our cozy wine lounge in back. The bar is open whenever the shop is. 

Or discover something new at one of our Friday night tastings. These tastings happen almost every week of the year. They often feature special guests (local producers or importers), regularly have a theme, and always draw a warm crowd.
