Terah Wine Co. Clements Hills Vermentino 2024

This Mediterranean variety thrives in the Delta’s breezy Clement’s Hills (basically the California Riviera...). Terah sources from the Bench Vineyard. Planted in 2012, this site has already accumulated organic and biodynamic certifications that attract top producers like Pax Mahle and Terah. To maintain freshness, the grapes for this wine were fermented via native yeast and aged very briefly (5 months) in stainless steel prior to bottling. Unfined, unfiltered, and packed with energy, this aromatic wine bursts with lemon blossom, grapefruit pith, green tropical fruit and fresh fennel. On the palate, the wine is creamy and characterized by a minerality and classic Vermentino saltiness. Pair with fresh shucked oysters, seafood pasta, tomato salads or lemony fish or orzo dishes.
