RM Sparkling Wine Club

The term RM, short for Récoltant-Manipulant, appears on the back labels of Champagnes made by independent vignerons making and bottling wine exclusively from grapes grown in their own vineyards. These "indy" Champagnes tend to be more site-expressive than those from large houses with brand names, known as Négociant-Manipulants (NMs for short), that blend fruit from up hundreds of growers throughout the region to make a consistent house style in their flagship cuvées. It's not that we don't love big house Champagne (oh, we do!); it's that, as a small, independent merchant, we also like to champion likeminded producers who are going above and beyond. 

The Details:

• What's Included in each club pack: 2 bottles - 1 Grower Champagne + 1 wildcard Champagne-caliber sparkler (in the past we've featured Franciacorta, domestic méthode Champenoise wines, a sparkling Furmint from Hungary)
• Cost: $100/pack (pre-tax)
• Frequency: Quarterly / 4 times per year
• The release date is around the 15th of the months of February, May, August & November.
