Red Car Rose of Pinot Noir 24

In the nose, the 2024 vintage offers bright & fresh aromas of orange blossom, orange sorbet, and red grapefruit. This wine is tightly wound, and expresses flint & mineral aromas that couple with rich texture in the palate from time spent on lees. Red Car produces site-specific wines, focused on achieving bright acidity and lively aromatics. Sustainability is at the core of why we exist. We operate each part of the business from the belief that less is more. We are stewards of the land and of the people who consume our wine to ensure harmony with the Earth. We farm organically to protect the soil and our consumers from artificial chemical intervention. At each harvest, this philosophy makes its way into the cellar where we allow our wines to purely express each vineyards unique character. We achieve this by using native yeast fermentation and minimal intervention practices. The Ryder Vineyard, our newest Estate property in Forestville, creates the foundation of this wine. The Ramondo vineyard to the South lies within the Sebastopol Hills region and provides us the opportunity to produce distinct wines from multiple clonal selections that we farm specifically for our Rose. These two sites create a unique compliment to one another creating lively freshness and citrus fruit profiles in the bottle.
