Longavi "Glup!" Maule Valley País 2023

For lovers of Beaujolais, try this chillable red from GLUP is a new range of gulpable, low-intervention (native yeast, no filtration, etc) Chilean wines from Longavi, the partnership project between friends, Julio Bouchon (Chile) and David Nieuwoudt (South Africa), from winemaking dynasties on two continents. The label highlights Chile’s old vines and indigenous varieties. 

With juicy, but barely ripe red fruit, apple skin and dark stones on the nose and palate. This wine comes from more than 100 year old vines grown in Chile’s Maule Valley. Planted to weathered granitic soils.
