Domaine des Deux Fleches Fleurie Vieilles Vignes Gamay 2021

Born out of a deep friendship, the "Les Deux fleches" project revolves around values dear to the eyes of Nicolas & Jeremy: sharing, epicureanism, high standards and love for the land. Passionate about wine, Jeremy & Nicolas like to laugh as much as to eat well. In 2015, they decided to create Les Deux Fleches in order to create their own wines and share their passion.

Certified organic grapes for this wine are grown in the classic pink granite soils on one of the finest terroirs of Fleurie, La Madone. Vines are planted among steep, terraced vineyards that cannot be worked by tractor, with vegetation left growing between the rows. All work is done by hand. 

The wine takes on an intense ruby color in the glass. With a pronounced bouquet of ripe red fruits including cherry and cranberry alone with rose. Supported by a hint of toasty bread and a touch of chocolate. Dry with bright acidity and soft tannins on the palate. Light to medium bodied and fruity, well balanced with subtle oak that adds structure and a hazelnut finish.

Food Pairing: Excellent with grilled chicken, Peking duck, or smoked salmon.
