La Montina Franciacorta Brut NV

La Montina was founded in 1982 by 3 borthers when they purchased an old convent in the northeastern corner of Franciacorta. This Brut Cuvee, a blend of organically-farmed vineyard holdings from 7 different communes, unpretentious, and utterly classic introduction to Franciacorta. After the secondary fermentation, this wine rests on its lees for 24 months contributing to the aromas and flavors of slightly baked bread that mingle with lemon curd on the palate.
