Haloze Hills in Stajerska, Slovenia are known to have pleasant summer weather with plenty of warm sunny days and cooler nights. Local blaufrankisch thrives in this terroir and produces bright expressive wine with refreshing acidity and minerality. This sparkling wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks with no added yeasts. Second fermentation finished in the bottle. The wine was never disgorged and contains sediment. This yeasty, cloudy wine, which shows naturally made bubbles is a light sparkling wine from Slovenian endemic wine variety Blaufrankisch. The nose and taste has a yeasty bouquet, which combines with varietal strawberry and raspberry notes. It is an exciting and slightly ,,fizzy,, sparkling wine.
