This is the 5th release of Sagie's Skin Contact Chenin Blanc and it is still a phenomenal bottling. Refreshing with bright fresh fruit, amazing food-pairing acidity, awesome texture with slight weight from the skin contact, and, this year, a bit of oxidation.
Sourced from an organic vineyard in Clarksburg (California's most famed region for Chenin Blanc) bordering the beautiful Sacramento River Delta. As Sagie says, it's like the Loire Valley--minus the castles... 36 days of skin contact. Only two barrels made.
