We are very excited to host and celebrate the debut releases from two wildly exciting Sonoma-based winemakers: Alli Badar (Intertidal Wine Co.) & Casey Barton (Helia Wine Co.) on Friday, October 9th from 5-7:30pm!

Though you may not know them, you know their work — both Alli and Casey both showcase their passion, knowledge, skills, and curiosity as integral members of the Bedrock Wine family.

More about Alli and Casey below:

Alli caught the wine bug after a few years in other fields (professional dancing, yoga, tech) and pursued a Masters in Viticulture and Enology from UC Davis where she researched the impact of wildfire smoke on grapes. After graduating, she joined Bedrock as a harvest intern in 2023, and joined the team full-time as Enologist in the fall of 2024. She is fascinated with old vines, regenerative viticulture, and thoughtful, precise winemaking. At it’s core, Intertidal Wine Co. is “about connection: sharing something universal, sensory, and human. These wines are meant to be expressions of that wonder—caring for the land, respecting time, and being part of something larger than ourselves.”

Casey is an explorer of landscapes. She studied Geological Sciences at the University of Texas. In 2016 she worked harvest for Pellegrini and was the 2020 viticulture intern for Bedrock. After a few years in the sales/business wine world, during which she pursued a WSET Diploma, Casey returned to Bedrock as a full-time viticulturist. Helia Wine Co. is powered by the Sun and the interconnectedness of all living things. For Casey farming, and getting to make wine from, these vineyards “has become the most powerful lesson in connection, and in understanding a place as a living whole” and she hopes “when you drink these wines, you think about the land they come from and feel that connection somewhere deeper in your heart.”
