Friday Night Tasting: The Eyrie Vineyards with Fabrice Habelski of Northwest Wines | June 12th, 2026 | 5-7:30pm

When newly weds David & Diana Lett broke ground on the Eyrie Vineyards in 1966, they were the first to plant Pinot Noir in Oregon's Willamette Valley. After studying at U.C. Davis and falling in love with Pinot, David travelled the world in search of the best site for the variety outside of Burgundy, ultimately deciding on the Dundee Hills and convincing his new wife, Diana, to join him on a quixotic adventure.

David vision has been borne out many times over in the ensuing decades, as Oregon's Willamette Valley become the world's most prestigious regions for Pinot Noir in a few short decades, in large part due to the early acclaim and interest - particularly from the Burgundians - that those early Eyrie Pinots brought to the region. 

On Friday, June 12th, we'll be pouring The Eyrie Estate Pinot Noir alongside 3 other wines (list below). Since David's passing, Diana and their son, Jason, continue to build on David's legacy in the cellar and the vineyards (as with all of the world's greatest wineries, there is almost no separation between the two) 

The Lett family's historic significance, demonstrated consistency in quality across vintages and varities, intellect and dedication to their craft without pretense, have made The Eyrie Vineyards one of Adriana's favorite producers in Oregon, if not the entire country, so she is extremely excited to join Fabrice, representing the Northwest Portfolio & Eyrie Vineyards in California, to share these incredible wines and stories with you.
