I’m a certified sake sommelier from Japan, now based in the San Francisco Bay Area. After years working in hospitality, I developed a unique and joyful approach to sharing sake with others.

As the founder and head sake sommelier of Chika & Sake, San Francisco’s first sake and koryōri bar, I had the chance to introduce many guests to sake in a fun, approachable way. After receiving requests from past guests to bring my experience to private settings, I created this new chapter: personalized sake events for your home, workplace, or special occasion.
