Dr Konstantin Frank Dry Finger Lakes Riesling 2024
Dr Konstantin Frank Dry Finger Lakes Riesling 2024
Dr Konstantin Frank (a Ukranian immigrant with a PhD in viticulture) immigrated to American at the age of 52 years old in the hope of creating a brighter future for his family. With decades of grape growing experience and knowledge, he transfored the Eastern United States wine industry in 1958 by successfully planting the first European grape varieties in those regions (part of the “vinifera” revolution).
Today, the estate - located on New York’s Lake Keuka - is in the hands of the fourth generation.
This Riesling, the flagship variety of the Finger Lakes region, is dry and zippy with notes of lime zest, granny smith apples and amineral stoniness. Pair with fresh, light cheeses, white meat or seafood.
