85% Nerello Mascalese 15% Nerello Cappuccio

Sea mist, sunshine and volcanic debris all present in this incredibly terroir driven wine.  From organically farmed vineyards around the northern and northeastern slopes of Mount Etna ( Randazzo, Castiligione di Sicilia, Linguaglossa & Piedimonte). Fermented in stainless steel.  Two week maceration. Aged 1 year in Slavonian & Chestnut oak (30hl) and held for one year in the bottle before release.

Aromas and flavors of red currant, rose hip and cinnamon spice.Elegant & savory with lingering minerality.

Pair with pork, game, risotto or grilled tuna steaks.
