This thirst-quenching, summer sipper from natural winemaker extraordinaire, Martha Stoumen, comes in at an incredible 9.5% alcohol.
A blend of Colombard (33%), Marsanne (26%), Roussane (23%) and Muscat Blanc (18%) from two certified organic farms. The Colombard comes from a dry farmed vineyard in Mendocino County.
Picked in late August, this wine marks the beginning of harvest. The wine is reminiscent of a featherweight basque Txakoli. A melange of orange blossom, tropical fruit (pineapple, papaya) and ocean air on the nose becomes a dry, refreshing and bright-citrus driven on the palate.
No SO2 added.
