The aromatics are immediate. Compressed, resinous red fruits – raspberry, cranberry, and cherry. There are undertones of orange zest, cinnamon, coffee and dried rose petal. Harvesting in the cool days of October yields us Pinot Noir that allows for the many waves of flavor that only delicate varietals like Pinot Noir are capable of. In the warmer years, the notes are often fewer. On the palate, you can feel the citrus and red fruit flesh pushing through the structure. Over time or with some air, this envelope will continue to open revealing weightless and seamless red fruits and savor.
