Michael Cecconi creates delectable libations and is the bartender emeritus at The Alembic in San Francisco. Beyond creating and serving world-class cocktails, Michael teaches mixology: from gin to mezcal, tiki to avant-garde, at some point he’s taught it. Michael was the maestro behind the cocktails at Peter Hoffman's Savoy and Back Forty in New York City, before the West coast beckoned. His work has been featured in the SF Chronicle (Bar Star 2012), Food & Wine, The New York Times, The Today Show, and countless blogs. Michael, working with great creativity and strong business acumen, has created cocktail programs from the Asian inspired at The Toucan & the Lion (NYC) to Farm to Table at Zazu (Sebastapol) to Baja Mexican at Pure Shore (Long Beach City, NY).
With M Squared Spirits, Michael steps out from behind the bar and to reach a wider audience with his best, and most popular cocktails. M Squared Spirits bottles beautifully balanced, artisanal cocktails and lets people enjoy the product of a craft bartender wherever and whenever they would like.

In the Fall 2019, Mikha will join the faculty of Culinary Arts and Hospitality at CCSF.
M Squared Spirits is an opportunity to collaborate with a dear friend and master craftsman to bring the best of mixology out from behind the bar and into the homes of our regulars, dear friends, and friends-yet-to-be-made
