Quinta do Mouro was chosen as Alentejo’s Best Wine Producer in 2015 by Wine Magazine. That same year, in The Wine Advocate, Mark Squires wrote «All the tastings that I had in Alentejo lead me to one conclusion: Quinta do Mouro is the best winemaker of the region. You can’t ignore it. » 45% Trincadeira, 30% Aragonez, 15% Alicante Bouschet and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Nice flavors of red berries and some spicy notes. On the palate shows good volume, nice fruit and light tannins with well integrated acidity that gives a good freshness.
