The Bandol rouge of Bastide Blanche comes from a blend with a majority of Mourvèdre, produced with low yields. It is a full-bodied and wild wine, combining notes of liquorice, spices and dark fruits. The palate, dense and fiery, develops a good tannic texture, very elegant. A stunning value from Bandol - hand-harvested at low yields of 36hL/ha. Entirely destemmed, 22 day fermentation on indigenous yeasts with occasional pigeage in foudre. Aged in large foudre.
